Big Data-Open Data
In October 2017, the UN Special Rapporteur on Right to Privacy presented to the United Nations General Assembly an interim report on Big Data – Open Data, which considers the advent of modern data technologies, international standards, and regulation and their impact upon the human right to privacy. Finalisation of the report will occur after a two-day international consultation in Sydney, for the public and private sectors and those with interests in the data economy whether as public policy and decision makers, educators, commercial service providers, data brokers, academics, researchers, regulators and legislators.
Hosted by the Australian Human Rights Institute on behalf of UN Special Rapporteur on Right to Privacy. More information
